Buttock & Thigh Lift
Buttock Lift (Gluteal Augmentation)
A Buttock Lift is a procedure that reshapes and contours sagging or flat buttocks. Laxity of the skin of the buttons and outer thighs are corrected during this procedure, as well.
Now you can look as good from the back as you do from the front.
Am I A Good Candidate for Buttock Lift?
Extensive weight loss, pregnancy, or aging can result in sagging of the hips and buttock resulting in a loss of feminine curves and excess, and unwanted fullness in the hips and outer thighs. Some women simply have problems that can never be corrected by diet and exercise.
Some people, including many men, simply have very little tissue in their buttocks due to heredity, which can also be helped with a buttock lift.
There are a variety of procedures that can help lift and rejuvenate the gluteal area. Liposuction, addition of fat removed from other areas and injected into the buttock, buttock implants, and excision of excess skin are some options.
What Should I Expect With Buttock Lift Surgery?
A buttock lift is performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. An overnight stay may be required if the buttock lift is combined with other procedures.
After the procedure, you will be required to wear compression garments to help with the reshaping and to decrease swelling. If fat injection is used to augment and lift the buttocks, you will have to minimize putting any pressure to the area after the procedure. You may go back to work within 5-7 days after the procedure. Recovery depends on the extent of your procedure. Your doctors will discuss pain management with you during your consultation.
A thigh lift is another great procedure that tightens and shapes excess fat or loose skin around the inner and outer thigh. It is often performed in conjunction with a buttock lift.
Beautiful thighs are within the realm of possibility for almost anyone, regardless of age or body type.
We all want smooth thighs, without bags, excess fat and skin. A thigh lift is a way to restore your thighs to a more beautiful state.
A thigh lift may include different procedures depending upon the extent of the deformity. Liposuction and direct excision may be used to treat the different problem areas. When direct excisions are used, the incisions are usually hidden within the creases of the thigh and groin area. Liposuction is performed with a series of small punctures which leave very little scarring. In some cases, incisions may be used along the inner thigh to excise extra skin resulting from weight loss.
Am I A Good Candidate for a Thigh Lift?
If you have experienced significant weight loss and have resulting loose skin and fat deposits around the inner or outer thigh, or if you have laxity due to aging or pregnancy, a thigh lift could be greatly beneficial in creating a new and more beautiful look.
What Should I Expect With a Thigh Lift?
A thigh lift is typically performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. An overnight stay may be required if the thigh lift is combined with other procedures. You will be required to wear a compression garment post-operatively to help reduce the swelling and assist in shaping of the area. Light activity may be resumed the day after the surgery. Exercise and strenuous activity should be avoided for 4-6 weeks. Recovery depends on the extent of your procedure. You doctor will discuss pain management with you during your consultation.
