Browlift surgery is performed to improve the aging appearance of the forehead and the eyebrows. The procedure addresses the frown lines and wrinkles of the forehead as well as the position of sagging eyebrows. Different approaches exist to address this area. Most typically the surgery is performed with the assistance of a small camera (endoscopically) and small incisions in the hairline.
The procedure is usually combined with other facial procedures.
Browlift is performed under general anesthesia. An overnight stay will be required if combined with other procedures. The recovery and healing will depend on the different procedures that are combined. Typically, you may resume light activity within a couple of days after the surgery and resume normal activity within 2 weeks. Our doctors will be more than happy to further discuss the surgery with you and to create an individualized surgical plan that addresses your needs.
