Juvederm Vollure

Everyone ages differently. Some of us see a lot of crows feet near the eyes, others notice their eyelids starting to droop, and some people find that their mouth, chin, and nose area are affected. If your signs of aging are prominent in the lower face around the mouth and nose, Juvederm Vollure may be a great option for you. The FDA recently approved Juvederm Vollure as the first and only hyaluronic acid dermal filler approved for the correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). Vollure that lasts up to 18 months in people over the age of 21.

How it Works

Like other dermal fillers, Juvederm Vollure is made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid improves the skin’s moisture content, making it feel and appear softer and smoother while giving you a radiant glow and improving the look of wrinkles and fine lines.

Juvederm Vollure is different from other fillers because it features a blend of gel firmness and low levels of cohesiveness, allows for an adaptable formula designed to add subtle volume to your face. The product also provides a slight adjustment of moderate or severe facial lines and folds.

Areas it Treats

Juvederm Vollure is FDA approved for moderate to severe wrinkles in the nasolabial folds.

  • Treats marionette lines, the lines that develop between the corners of your mouth as well as along your jawline and chin
  • Adds volume to nasolabial folds, the wrinkles that form from the corners of your mouth to the corners of your nose
  • Fills in wrinkles and lines that are considered mild to moderate
  • Refreshes the lower section of your face

Patient satisfaction in the study was also significant, with 82 percent of patients saying they were very satisfied after six months and 68 percent still claiming satisfaction at 18 months.
