Breast Augmentation Reviews
I could write an essay about the amazing experience I received from Panacea. The process of deciding to get a breast augmentation took me close to a year. I went to four consultations around Atlanta. I had a special tuberous breast case, and Dr. Aboushi is the only doctor who gave me confidence that the look I wanted could be achieved. Every aspect of surgery was amazing. I also think this is the best value plastic surgeon in Atlanta. Can’t recommend this team enough.
I’m fully confident that I’m going to be over the moon happy with my “girls” when they’re completely healed - Currently 1.5 weeks post breast augmentation with lift and areola reduction and I’m super excited to see what my ladies are going to look like when everything is settled. A majority of the surgical tape is still on my incisions, but recently some came off on one areola/nipple and I’m super happy with the result. I’m also very happy with the LIFT and my new implant size! I used to have 350 cc in, and now I have 450 cc. I figured, if I were getting this surgery done, might at well go UP a size! I did a LOT of research/consults/etc in order to figure out which surgeon to choose for my “triple” procedure (lift, implant and areola reduction- I was VERY PARTICULAR about my areola size, a lot of surgeons I met with weren’t confident that they could make what I wanted happen) and I chose Dr Singh because she just has this presence about her that makes you feel comfortable. She also has a very confident demeanor as well and told me she could 100% achieve the areola size I was looking for. I scheduled a virtual consult with her (I live an hour + away from her office in ATL) and after getting off the consult with her, I knew I wanted to choose her. I will admit though, after committing to Dr. Singh, I had a bunch of appointments scheduled for IN PERSON and the first time I went to her office I got VERY scared/worried I made the wrong choice because the office isn’t your typical plastic surgeon suite. The parking is not good (but they do have a gated lot so you can assure yourself that you will have somewhere to park), and the location of her office is squeezed into a little establishment on a side-alley street. The office also feels way more Med Spa than Plastic Surgery Office, but the second Dr. Singh came in to see me in one of the examination rooms, my mind was put at ease because her bed side manner is A ++ and truly she is just such a nice person. So far, I highly recommend Dr. Singh. I met her colleague as well when she wasn’t available and he too was VERY NICE, he had the same demeanor as Dr. Singh. I’m fully confident that I’m going to be over the moon happy with my “girls” when they’re completely healed.
This office is by far 10 stars. The staff, nurses and everyone are the best. I can’t say enough kind things about them all. Dr. Singh is a beautiful soul who always makes me feel good about everything. I think she’s a fantastic surgeon and wonderful person!! Go see them if you want to feel better about You.
Dr.Singh and the staff at Panacea Plastic Surgery are so wonderful! Corrine at the front desk always remembers me and efficiently checks me in relieving me of having to stand around awkwardly and when you are post op that means so much!! Kristin is incredibly kind thoughtful and informative! Amber is the GOAT she takes care of me and has the best energy! Dr Singh won me over during our consultation because she thoughtfully listened to me and heard my concerns without interruption, judgement or condescending to me. I am 3 weeks post op and am so glad I chose Dr. Singh to help me!!!
Dr Abboushi takes such good care of me. He's been my doxtor since 2018. He's never in a hurry so I don't feel rushed. He listens, he's actually paying attention. I fell ultra safe in his hands. His staff is kind & professional. It's too bad it's only 5 stars because I would give them a 10 out of 10. P.S. Have u seen his office on Bernina Ave. It's so luxurious & clean! If u need plastic surgery or skin care this is THEE place to go I promise!!!!

How Does Breast Augmentation Work?
At Panacea Plastic Surgery, breast augmentation is a personalized procedure that begins with a consultation in Atlanta, GA. During this appointment, Dr. Abboushi or Dr. Singh will discuss key considerations, including:
- Implant type: Patients can choose between saline and silicone implants. Saline implants consist of a silicone shell filled with sterile salt water, while silicone implants are pre-filled with a cohesive silicone gel. Both have distinct characteristics in terms of feel, appearance, and incision requirements, and our surgeons will discuss which option is best suited for you.
- Implant placement: Our surgeons specialize in dual-plane breast augmentation, which gives patients the benefits of both sub-muscular and sub-glandular breast implant placement via a single, streamlined technique. However, there are times when only one type of placement will be appropriate. We will recommend the best placement based on your body type, breast tissue, and desired outcome.
- Implant size: Selecting the right implant size is crucial for achieving natural-looking and proportionate results. This decision is made collaboratively with Dr. Abboushi or Dr. Singh, considering your current body frame, skin elasticity, and personal aesthetic preferences. Various sizing tools and techniques will be used to help you visualize and choose the ideal implant size.
Breast Augmentation FAQ
Making Your Choices
These options may seem overwhelming, but agreeing to the appropriate implant is somewhat easy once the goals are understood during the consultation. These considerations, paired with the experience of Dr. Abboushi help to ensure the anticipated outcome is attained.
Do I need a breast lift or augmentation?
Your plan might include breast augmentation, a lift, or both. A breast lift removes excess skin and improves the breasts, while implants enhance the shape and size. During your consultation, our surgical team will listen to your concerns and goals before explaining your treatment options. A combination of augmentation and lift is usually a part of a mommy makeover to revitalize the breasts after breastfeeding and pregnancy.
Can I breastfeed with implants?
If you might want to breastfeed after augmentation surgery, be sure to tell our surgeons during your consultation. With the right surgical technique and placement, it's usually possible to breastfeed after implants. Breastfeeding and pregnancy can affect your results, so it is best to wait until your family is complete to get breast surgery.
Can I have my implants removed?
You might decide at some point that you want to replace or remove your implants. Should this happen, we can perform breast revision surgery. During the revision surgery, your old implants will be either replaced with new implants or removed. If you choose to have your implants removed, you may need to have a breast lift since larger implants can stretch your skin. If you have any questions or concerns after your breast augmentation surgery, schedule a consultation at Panacea Plastic Surgery to discuss your options.
Do implants cause breast cancer?
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is still investigating a link between breast implants and ALCL (anaplastic large cell lymphoma). This isn't breast cancer; it is a cancer of the immune system. According to WHO (the World Health Organization), implant-related ALCL is very rare and when caught early, it's easy to treat. Our team encourages all patients with breast implants to get frequent screenings for breast cancer. You should contact Panacea Plastic Surgery if you see any concerns, such as swelling or other visible changes.
Is it safe to get a mammogram with breast implants?
Yes, you can still receive mammograms, though it is important to inform the technician that you have implants so they can use specialized settings and tools. Dr. Abboushi or Dr. Singh can explain how implants are positioned to ensure that breast tissue remains visible for health screenings. Maintaining your regular breast health schedule is a priority for our team at Panacea Plastic Surgery.
What happens if an implant ruptures?
In the rare event of a rupture, a saline implant will deflate quickly, and the salt water will be safely absorbed by your body. Silicone ruptures are often "silent" because the gel stays within the shell or pocket, which is why Dr. Abboushi or Dr. Singh may recommend periodic imaging. If a rupture occurs, our team at Panacea Plastic Surgery will work with you to perform a simple replacement procedure.
Am I A Candidate For Breast Augmentation?
Candidates for breast augmentation are generally women who are in good overall health and looking to enhance the size, shape, or symmetry of their breasts. It's a good choice for anyone who's always desired larger breasts, want to correct natural asymmetry, or wish to restore lost volume due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss. Ideal candidates have realistic expectations and a clear understanding of what's involved in the procedure. If you’re considering breast augmentation, schedule a consultation with Dr. Abboushi and Dr. Singh. Our team can discuss your goals, assess your anatomy, and create a custom treatment plan to help you achieve your desired results.
What To Expect After Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is performed under general anesthesia in one of our partner hospitals. The procedure lasts between 1 – 2 hours, after which you will spend time in recovery before being discharged that evening. Our post-operative guidelines may include:
- Having someone drive you home after surgery
- Wearing a compression garment 24/7 for about one month
- Taking medications to help with post-operative swelling and inflammation
Recovery times may vary, but we advise most patients at Panacea Plastic Surgery to take a one-week break after breast enhancement surgery.
How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost?
The cost of breast augmentation surgery starts at approximately $7,000 with saline implants, and $8,000 with silicone implants. Pricing includes pre- and post-operative care, as well as hospital fees. These averages do not include the cost of a breast lift or mastopexy, which is a separate procedure, although it can be, and often is, performed at the same time. A combined breast lift with augmentation starts at $10,500 with saline implants, and $11500 with silicone implants. Please note that these are only average costs and pricing is truly dependent upon examination by our team members.
